Common questions
How do I play?
Touch and hold anywhere on the screen to brake; let go to accelerate. The car steers itself along the racing line. At the start, hold while the lights come on and release the moment they go out.
How do I know when to brake?
Watch the car, not the screen. As you arrive at a corner too fast, the floor scrapes and throws sparks. They're heaviest where the brake belongs and die away once you've slowed enough. That's your moment to let go.
Is there a tutorial?
Yes. The first time you tap START WORLD TOUR, a short tutorial teaches the brake on an empty track: when the sparks come up, hold; when they die away, let go. You can replay it any time from TRAINING › TUTORIAL, alongside short drills on the start, yellow flags, pit stops and weather.
How do I unlock more time trial roads?
Race the World Tour. Roads you race there unlock for time trial.
Is the game free? Are there ads?
Brake Point is free to download, and the first World Tour (24 races), Time Trial and Training are free. One in-app purchase, Full World Tour, unlocks the other nine tours, which then open in order as you race through them. There are no ads, no account and nothing else to buy.
How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?
Open Settings in the game, tap FULL WORLD TOUR, then RESTORE PURCHASE. You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
Will my progress carry over to a new phone?
Progress is saved on your device and included in your iPhone backup, so restoring a backup to a new phone brings it with you.
Can I turn off the music, sound or vibration?
Yes. Open Settings from the title screen to switch music, sound and haptics on or off.
